For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
Love the length in the back of this jacket. It's stretchy yet warm and breathable all at the same time. I've worn this over a thermal jersey for really chilly mornings/days and popped it on after a race to take the edge off to cool down. I do wish this had a pocket or zipper in the back for added convenience, but I do love the wrist bands for, ya know, a runny nose? :) I ordered a small and it's perfect with a standard jersey underneath and just a bit tight but not uncomfortable with a thermal jersey underneath. I'm 5'7" with broad shoulders, long torso, and 140 lbs (athletic build). I do think the medium would have been too big, but MFF return policy is excellent if you're unsure about sizing!
Fit true to size. Fabulous jacket. Stylish and functional. Great for shoulder seasons. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
Size small fits perfectly. I am 5'11", weigh 138ish.
Super impressed with the quality of construction. I tend to layer this over a mid-weight merino base in PNW winter if big climbs are planned. Very breathable and helps take the cold edge off. Since the spring transition, this has been perfect over short sleeves for morning commutes. Like a few others have noted, this garment fits me a bit tight between the shoulders--overall a very nice tailored fit.
The jacket is super thin and stretchy. It doesn’t provide much warmth on its own, but it keeps your own heat in and the cold wind out without the plastic bag feeling. I love it for layering on days that start cold (down to mid 40s) but then warm up. The thin jacket is very packable. The color is gorgeous. There are a lot of vents and seams all over so it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing apparel item outside of riding, but it is so very functional. No pockets at all though. A small zippered pocket would have been a nice feature.
