Our coziest jacket yet.
The newest jacket from Machines, redesigned for cozy comfort and reflective for staying safe. The Twilight Jacket features new, ribbed cuffs and collar lining in a soft knit for staying cozy where it matters most. (And if you're most excited about a softer place to wipe your nose, we're totally with you). Plus, new reflective details to stay visible when riding during dawn and dusk.
In our favorite fabric (you know it from the Daybreak Jacket and All Weather Vest), this piece features 4-Way stretch, which basically means it stretches in every direction, for every curve. Our favorite part is the texture: it's velvety and matte, never clammy or sticky, even when you're sweating.
Try it off the bike too. Perfect for evening trail runs, coffee hangs, quick commutes and those crazy days that involve all three.
- Premium European fabric is wind-proof and water resistant, without that plastic-y, clammy feeling.
- New knit cuffs and collar lining for improved levels of coziness.
- 4-Way stretch for a fantastic fit that won't balloon in the wind.
- Ultra light and packable.
- Top quality self-locking zippers
- Reflective details on the shoulders and cuffs for visibility.

Notes about fit
- For cycling jackets and vests, the BUST MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor.
- Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the chest, not the ribcage.
- If you are in between sizes or petite, we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit.
- A snug fit is crucial to performance.

Only gave four stars for lack of pockets. I layer up due to life in snowy MN so I don’t mind leaving it unzipped so that I still may access my pockets on my Jersey... but reeeeeally wish I could zip it up while riding. I mean. I could, but pockets.
However, leaving it unzipped makes me feel like I have a cape and I dig that. I pair it with my MFF floral jersey most often and I feel like such a bad ass!! I kind of wish I’d have gotten a size up just because I like my things a little less than fitted but not baggy.
Pictured is an XL for reference. I’m 5’9.5” and 200 something pounds (I say something because I haven’t weighed myself in years, I go by how I feel 😉)
Anyway, thank you for a quality product and I’m so thankful the stimulus check hit during the sale because owning MFF apparel isn’t something I thought I could ever afford! So happy with my purchase.
I wear this baby everyyyywhere! On a run, at the grocery store, and definitely on a ride. I am usually between a S/M but tend to run M in MFF apparel. Glad I went with the medium as it is snug in the bust but fits perfect on my arms and waist. I also like that its not terribly long on my 5"1' frame. As other people have mentioned, a pocket(s) would be very helpful but not a huge deal for me bc I usually have a pack on my bike anyway. I live in the PNW and in the cold (high 30's to low 40's) I will layer with a 200 base layer, this jacket, and a puffer to take off as needed. I have also worn the jacket with a tank underneath on a little warmer day (higher 40's to low 50's) and it somehow keeps me warm while still letting me breathe. Magic! My favorite bits you might not see in the website photos are the pop of coral at the neckline and the reflective arm pieces.
I’m 5’9, 160 lbs with a 36DD bust. I ordered the jacket in both large and x-large and neither was a winner.
Not well sized for busty gals that are otherwise thin... or have long arms.
While the large fit in the shoulders and waist, the bust was too tight; the xl was better in the bust but too big elsewhere. In both sizes, the sleeves were too short.
And, there are no pockets.
The jacket is fantastic for winter in Arizona! Lightweight, breathable, gorgeous! It also works for running. Admittedly, had to size up as it is small through the shoulders/back.
I’m impressed with this jacket. I thought it wouldn’t be warm enough for mild-winter rides, but it’s actually fantastic. I prefer starting my rides a bit chilly knowing I warm up fairly quickly. I wear this in temps 30-50° with various layers and other winter accessories. It blocks the wind, easy to unzip during climbs, and I love the reflective details on the sleeves and across the shoulders. It would be great to have a small pocket on the back. I’m in between sizes in MFF and wear both small and medium jerseys. I opted for a small jacket because I didn’t want extra fabric anywhere and it’s stretchy enough to fit over a thermal jersey with a base layer. I’m 5’7”, 140lbs with broad shoulders and a long torso.
