This is not a winter cycling tight. This is not a knicker. This is the MVP: so good you might just bench your other players.
The Most Versatile Pant is just that: versatile. It is an ankle-length bib pant designed to take you through long months of transitional weather. Perfect for SoCal winters, NorCal summers, and everything in between, the MVP is meant to be worn anywhere from 50-75 degrees F. We think dressing for the cooler months should be just as simple as dressing for summer: bibs or pants, jersey, and vest or jacket. Easy.

We wanted to innovate how you kit up for a long ride. The MVP opens up a whole new world of wearing kit as off-the-bike attire. Riding to meet friends for coffee or dinner? The MVP transitions seamlessly to "real life" and might just have people asking where you got your new leggings. We think bike-style and life-style should be interchangeable.

To get the longest life out of your garment, we recomend washing in cold water with a mild detergent and hanging it to dry. If you need to toss it in the dryer in a pinch, that's okay! Just keep this to a minimum. Overtime, heat can degrade the yar, resulting in lost compression and durability.

For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
I've been trying for a long time to get bibs in my size (XXXL) with a really good chamois. Machines for Freedom have been very helpful in making sure I found some. I've only done a few rides with them so far but they are significantly more comfortable than any other bibs I've worn. Initially I tried the Endurance bibs in the standard length. They were a little short and rolled up. The full length MVPs overcome this problem, and feel great as we move into the cooler months in the southern hemisphere. Worth every cent. I'm encouraged to try the Tall version of Endurance bibs after winter.
I live in Minnesota which means there's no such ting as bad weather, just bad clothing choices when it comes to outdoor riding. These bibs are amazing to ride in. I did my first ride in them on a Saturday for 3 hours and then washed them and did a second ride in them the next day for 5 hours. I felt great and they looked great:)
I purchased this item and reached out to machines wto let them know the stitching on the chamois came undone and the chamois is busting out of place and moves during the ride. Machines blamed it on my saddle… although my other bibs from other companies have not had that problem. They did not offer any support and said they could not help. Save your money and try something else. If feels good to put these on initially and then you are left with saddle sores.
Size up for a roomy winter fit! As a tall girl, most cycling leggings are very restrictive and tight on my knees. These leggings are smooth and comfortable around my knees while giving me room to tuck in extra layers. They fit a bit more like capris than pants. They don't go all the way down to my ankles. I'm 5' 11', and I ordered a size large for a comfortable fit. I usually wear their sized medium shorts that are pretty snug. I like having these in a size large for winter comfort. I've worn them in 60 degree weather so far and did not overheat.
The fit was great, with good compression and the chamois was so comfortable that I can ride without any issue for long hours (up to 5 hours so far). I'm 5'2 and 34 in the hip and got a x-small which fit perfectly. The only thing to note is that the bibs do lose a bit of dye after their first few washes and also turn brown after being under the sun riding after some time.
