For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
You know when you are biking and your tummy is squeezing out over the top of your shorts in a way that doesn't feel all that cute? It doesn't matter what your body type is- it happens. These shorts are AWESOME because of that extra waistband room- no tummy pop or squeeze I can be bent over my bars and they fit great! On top of that, they are super soft and the length is perfect. I'm 5'6, 127lbs and I got a 25.
Love love love! These are stylish, comfortable, and multi-functional. I'm 5'7" and 150 with 43" hips. Ordered the 29 and they fit perfectly! High waisted enough to be comfortable, and short enough to be stylish. Truly can, and do, use these for mtb, commute riding, hiking, and whatever else. They're a bit short for mtb, but doesn't bother me at all. Was nervous about the weight and fabric given others reviews but I love it! They're buttery soft and not too hot. Going to order in another color (black) bc I like them that much. The black ones will be nice enough for me to wear to the office too.
Based on reviews I ordered a size 27 in the Key Hole short. I'm 5'6, weigh around ~145 and have long legs for my height. I always wear a size 27 in Madewell Jeans and wear a size 6 in the North Face and Everlane. I was surprised to find that these shorts had quite a bit of room in the waist. Enough for it to feel weirdly far away from my body. I planned to wear them for gravel riding and bikepacking so I wanted a short that was a little more stylish. I ended up returning them because the liners I bought also didn't fit. I would like to try the 26 if it's the right fit or if I should have kept the 27s. The material was quite nice FWIW!
Great shorts but a tad large (might just be my build). I exchanged for 25 and they were still too big. Once the 24s are back in stock I might get another pair in the green color. I just use a belt to help these gorgeous yellow ones stay on! The citronella color is beautiful and the material is amazing; very high quality!
I searched long and hard for a pair of MTB shorts with a shorter inseam. When I found MFF I was so excited to find a brand that sold cute and functional MTB clothes for women! I'm 5'3" with a 29in waist and 42in hip and ordered a 29. These shorts are the perfect inseam length, however they are really tight on my legs and pretty loose in the waist. I was a little surprised that shorts designed for athletic women were not cut for athletic legs! Overall I like the style, I just wish the leg opening was like1/2 an inch wider. I know it's hard to fit everyone, but it seems alot of people are reporting the same issues. Maybe a yoga type waist band would solve the waist gapping issue?
