For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
I found these shorts to be a great fit. I am 5’0, 140 lbs, and ordered a 28. The fabric is soft but durable. They dry quick and look great over multi day trips. They continued to fit the same from day 1 through day 3 on a bike packing trip in the desert. They preform well and have a very flattering length, especially for a short woman who’s a little thick.
I have a fairly narrow waist, but big muscular thighs and bum. Unfortunately, these shorts do not fit thick thighs well. They were tight in thighs and gaped in the waist. While riding they rode up terribly (all the way scrunched up into my crotch). I had high hopes as this seems to be a common problem for women to hike/bike/ski/etc. but they’re not the right fit.
These are amazing shorts and I love the fit. They are comfy, stretchy, and flattering. I do agree with other reviewers that the waist runs a bit big. I normally wear a US 2 or 4 and ordered the 4, and I think the legs would be too tight if I sized down to a 2. The other problem is that the first time I tried them on, the snap fell off. I'm planning on reordering a pair and hoping it was just a faulty one.
These shorts are so well made but I found the waist to be very lose for the size. I ordered my size however even though the legs are snug, the waist is far too big. And I don’t normally have this issue with a fit. Also, the phone pocket is small if you have a newer iPhone and I wouldn’t actually be able to use it while riding at least. Otherwise, super comfy!
This is probably the comfiest shorts I got for cycling. Followed the size and it fits nicely. The stretchy material hugs the thighs and hips perfectly. Not too tight
