For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
I got these to wear under the trail shorts that MMF just came out with. I really like these for MTB and they work very well under the MMF trail shorts. I will say this tho, the sticky rubbery stuff at the bottom of the leg to prevent ride up works very well but will straight up rip your leg hair out mid ride. So shave above the knee if you're going to wear these haha. Once you do that then these are perfect. These are great lining for under baggy MTB shorts. I have tried them under normal leggings too and double compression waistbands aren't the most comfortable and slide around. Id only wear these under something like a trail short. Mesh panel is great and I think helps keep these in place actually. I haven't had them slip around at all and for me the fit was perfect. These are definitely tighter than a usual bib or cycling short but I think that's because they are designed to be worn under other stuff. I wear a large in MMF bibs and shorts so that's what I ordered for these and was fine. I think a couple of "break in" rides help with any fit issues too. Padding wise these are perfect for MTB where bulky chamois can get in the way. Wouldn't ride a road bike more than 10 miles with these. Full suspension MTB can be ridden all day tho!
