#MOVEEQUAL WITH STRAVA AND MACHINES

#MoveEQUAL THIS MARCH
WITH STRAVA AND MACHINES FOR FREEDOM
Effort is brave. It’s vulnerable. Effort deserves respect. Most importantly, effort is equal. Sport should be equal. This March, Machines and Strava are celebrating equality in sport with #MoveEQUAL: a new challenge designed to get people moving in support of equality and The Global Fund for Women.
#MoveEQUAL
Here's how it works:
Ride 200 miles during the month of March and log your miles in the Machines For Freedom Strava Club! You'll have a chance to win a Limited Edition #MoveEQUAL cycling cap and for each cap that goes out, we'll donate on your behalf to The Global Fund for Women. It's a small action with big results -- The Global Fund for Women supports folks fighting for equality for women, girls, and non-binary people in their local communities. We're big fans of taking action into your own hands, and those are exactly the type of changemakers that GFW supports with financial grants.
You can also support the cause by attending one of 8 group rides in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, Santa Monica, San Francisco, New York, Austin, Atlanta, and Boulder.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Ride 200 miles between March 1 - 31, 2019 and log the miles in the Machines For Freedom Strava Club! At the end of the month, Strava will select contest winners at random to receive a Limited Edition Strava x Machines For Freedom #RideEQUAL Cap. Click here for the official rules.
RIDE WITH A GROUP
Want to knock out a portion of your 200 with a fun crew? We're hosting group rides in 8 cities on Sunday, March 10 to celebrate International Women's Day! Find a ride near you:
Don't see your city listed here? Host your own group ride! Tag us in your Ride Flyer and we'll spread the word about your ride on the Machines channel.
THE #MoveEQUAL Cap
WHERE DO I START?
Just ride! You can take part in #MoveEQUAL wherever you are located and no matter how fit you are. Ride on your own, ride indoors on a smart trainer, or host your own group ride!
After all, we just did the math and 200 miles is only 6.5 miles per day!
