To get the longest life out of your garment, we recommend washing in cold water with a mild detergent and hanging it to dry. If you need to toss it in the dryer in a pinch, that's okay! Just keep this to a minimum. Overtime, heat can degrade the yarn, resulting in lost compression and durability.

For cycling bibs and shorts, the HIP MEASUREMENT is the most crucial factor. Measure around the WIDEST POINT of the hips/bum. If you are between sizes or petite (5'3" or under), we recommend SIZING DOWN for a compressive fit. A snug fit is crucial to performance. Check out our FIT GUIDE for more detailed instructions, or pop your measurements into the fit calculator above for a personalized recommendation! (Please note, the fit guide requires chest, waist and hip measurements.)
I've been wearing my new vest for a few weeks now, and it's perfect for adding another layer but without bulk or excess heat. I even find I love wearing it off my bike - for hiking, travelling or just kicking back when I want a lightweight extra layer or just extra pockets. The back pockets are superuseful and the fabric is high quality . I usually wear a M or L top, but followed the sizing guide and ordered XL - which is a good snug fit.
Wish MFF made kits for shorter torsos, sometimes find the jerseys and vests to be a little long in the midsection and it causes bunching
Love the vest. Awesome color, well made, and form fitting but still moves nicely.
I've struggled to find a vest that fit well because i have really broad shoulders/really large boobs and being able to see this fit modeled on bodies like mine made me a thousand times more confident about ordering it than I have been about other brands, where it's a 'gee i hope this actually works' that typically doesn't work out/makes me feel like a sausage. This moves with you on the bike, has great supportive stretch, is long enough, deflects drizzle, and, is just enough of a wind break for blustery days (and a real core warmer when doubled up with other layers). My sole gripe would be that I personally would love at least one more watertight/zippered pocket on the back, instead of the two open topped ones, but the pockets themselves are a good size and you can cram a lot of stuff in there. I love that the fabric isn't really noisy, and it's soft in addition to feeling way more sturdy than my other wind vests, including the zipper. Thanks for expanding your sizing, Machines! My happiness with the vest led me to also get the jacket, and the new trail pullover, and I love both of those too.
