Really comfy cycling pants but quite pricey - wanted then to last longer than 18 months! Have patched them up - fingers crossed
I've been cycling for years in cheap padded shorts and quick dry tees. I thought bibs and jerseys were serious riders only. That is a lie! Bibs are for everyone!! I cannot believe how comfortable these are compared to my shorts. There's no waistband digging into my stomach, nothing squeezing my thighs - I didn't even think about my clothes on my ride. Which is whole point of cycling clothes. The bibs plus the jersey made me feel like a bad ass cyclist who can take on anything, plus the modernist print is fun and colorful. I was skeptical about the summerweight jersey but I wore it in the sun on the 80 degree day and never felt too hot. I actually felt cold when I stopped in the shade. I love not slathering myself with greasy sunscreen. I actually just ordered a second summerweight jersey so I can have a back up. I followed the size chart for an XS jersey, which was snug but still comfortable, and an S bibs. I also tried an XS bibs but they were suffocating.
I have yet to be disappointed by a Machines for Freedom Purchase. The Jersey breathes so well and the bibs have just the right level of compression. Thanks for making cycling gear that fits real women.
Love the fit and the cut of the bib shorts. Sizing was approx my usual size when normally i would expect to size up in bike apparel. Regarding the jersey - for me the size that matched my bust measurements was a better fit.
I’m 5’10 and 175lbs and ordered the large bibs and medium jersey based on my measurements. Both are quite snug. I also ordered tall, and glad I did! There’s no extra space in the torso- the straps are tight. Otherwise, it feels good quality and the chamois is comfortable. I would just recommend sizing up from what the size chart recommends

I really like this jacket! It’s so lightweight and the fabric actually feels very nice and it’s a good winderbreaker to pack on my bike. That said, I used the size calculator which suggested I get a medium. That’s what I got, and it is a little too small and kind of limits my range of motion since it isn’t stretchy. Since it’s final sale I’ll just go with it, but I prob shoulda gotten a large. For reference, I’m 5’6, 165 lbs, 32 inch waist and 44 inch hips. It’s particularly tight around the hips.
Versatile jacket for chilly or cold days with warmer layer underneath. Packs into itself and so light you hardly know you are carrying anything when packed into its pocket!. For reference I’m 4’11” 105 pounds and 36b bra and ordered size small with enough room for thicker layer underneath. Maybe could have tried XS, however wanted more room! The material is very quiet in the wind and soft for a light shell jacket!! Love it!!
I have a ton of cycling gear. This windbreaker has instantly made the top of my essentials list. It's lightweight, packable into a pocket, and actually protects from the wind. I recently took the product graveling and it help up perfectly. Keeping me warm during the chilly sections. I was able to take it off easily and pack it down into my pocket without the product taking up precious real estate in my kit pocket!
This is my first wind breaker and I chose it because it is comfortable and lightweight and folds up so small and easy in my back pocket. It adds a little warmth but is very light and seems breathable. It looks great too!
When I got this jacket I was skeptical because it's so lightweight, but I just wore it on a windy ride and it worked AMAZING. It kept the edge off the wind, even on steep descents. It's nicely breathable so I stayed warm but not sweat soggy. I'm so happy with this jacket, it's exactly what I was looking for. I do wish it was around 2 inches longer (if you have a long torso it might not be great coverage) but that isn't enough to stop me from feeling this was a great purchase.
