I have debated purchasing the MVP and summerweight long sleeve for a number of months. It is a big ticket clothing purchase (at least for me), however, I finally bit the bullet and it was definitely the right decision!
The MVP is the perfect solution for the windy Bay Area, Golden Gate Bridge/Marin Headlands rides and most importantly very flattering and comfortable.
I am 6'2 and 108-110 pounds (depending on how delicious dinner was the night before) and originally purchased a small based on the size guide. There was excess material around my knees and ankles causing bunching (I suspect this is mostly due to my short stature). I contacted customer service, who were responsive and very helpful. They recommended sizing down given I am petite. When the MVP arrived I was 100% certain it was not going to get over my hips. I was quite nervous I would bust a seam, and it did require some wriggling but I got the pants on and wow was it worth it! Feels great, holds everything in, is slimming and flattering (even though Im a great weight). Have been on two 20 mile rides, comfortable chamois and I didn't get too hot or cold (was 53-57 degrees).
I wanted stylish sun protection but was highly skeptical the summerweight long sleeve material/cut would be breathable on a warm day. I was surprised at how comfortable climbing 2,000ft over 20 miles on an 83 degree day was, I suspect it could have handled an even warmer day. The jersey was surprisingly warm enough for a 60 degree day (with the Mchines short sleeve base layer, plus a vest for the descent). The fabric is high quality and silky soft, it is a real joy to wear.
