Makes me feel like a bad ass cyclist

I've been cycling for years in cheap padded shorts and quick dry tees. I thought bibs and jerseys were serious riders only. That is a lie! Bibs are for everyone!! I cannot believe how comfortable these are compared to my shorts. There's no waistband digging into my stomach, nothing squeezing my thighs - I didn't even think about my clothes on my ride. Which is whole point of cycling clothes. The bibs plus the jersey made me feel like a bad ass cyclist who can take on anything, plus the modernist print is fun and colorful. I was skeptical about the summerweight jersey but I wore it in the sun on the 80 degree day and never felt too hot. I actually felt cold when I stopped in the shade. I love not slathering myself with greasy sunscreen. I actually just ordered a second summerweight jersey so I can have a back up. I followed the size chart for an XS jersey, which was snug but still comfortable, and an S bibs. I also tried an XS bibs but they were suffocating.

Fit is still great

I have yet to be disappointed by a Machines for Freedom Purchase. The Jersey breathes so well and the bibs have just the right level of compression. Thanks for making cycling gear that fits real women.

Love the fit and the cut of the bib shorts. Sizing was approx my usual size when normally i would expect to size up in bike apparel. Regarding the jersey - for me the size that matched my bust measurements was a better fit.

Used size chart but still snug

I’m 5’10 and 175lbs and ordered the large bibs and medium jersey based on my measurements. Both are quite snug. I also ordered tall, and glad I did! There’s no extra space in the torso- the straps are tight. Otherwise, it feels good quality and the chamois is comfortable. I would just recommend sizing up from what the size chart recommends

It's good stuff

The jersey fit and feel is amazing. I'm 5'10 and 170 lbs, based on my hip measurements I ordered a large for the bibs. However, they were very tight and became sheer when I would put any additional strain on the fabric, like sitting and bending in the saddle. The XL fit much, much better without the see through quality when bending. In general, it's such good quality gear and the return process was extremely easy. The padding in these bibs deserves accolade. Compared to comparably priced Castelli or Pearl Izumi gear the padding here is far superior. I love this company.

ALLISON BRACK
Love it!

This is my first wind breaker and I chose it because it is comfortable and lightweight and folds up so small and easy in my back pocket. It adds a little warmth but is very light and seems breathable. It looks great too!

K

Works excellent

When I got this jacket I was skeptical because it's so lightweight, but I just wore it on a windy ride and it worked AMAZING. It kept the edge off the wind, even on steep descents. It's nicely breathable so I stayed warm but not sweat soggy. I'm so happy with this jacket, it's exactly what I was looking for. I do wish it was around 2 inches longer (if you have a long torso it might not be great coverage) but that isn't enough to stop me from feeling this was a great purchase.

Super lightweight

This jacket super light and good for deflecting a light right. Figuring out how to tuck it into its pocket neatly has so far eluded me. I wish there was an exterior pocket, or even two interior pockets, but it gets the job done.

Great windbreaker

Nice fit and surprisingly good at blocking the wind. Perfect for rides that start a bit cold but where you know you'll need to drop the outer layer. Stuffs nicely into the inner pocket or your can fold it up (I prefer the stuffing). My only ask would be to move the stuffer pocket to the back outside so it can be used to carry items more easily, then function as the stuffer pocket later.

Super Ultra Light Windbreaker

Super light but does the job. Fit is great and it is really comfortable to wear. Only thing missing was a pocket and something to fold it into. I fold it up and put a hair and around it to pack it up safely in my handle bar bag.
