Great chamois, fits a bit small

Flattering fit, great chamois. Fits a bit smaller than expected compared to the jerseys that fit true to size for me.

Comfortable where it counts

I wore these for a century ride two weeks ago. I was comfortable in the saddle-area all day, however the mesh part in the abdomen region was a little uncomfortable. The chamois in the Endurance bib is superior to any bike shorts that I had, so being comfortable in the saddle outweighed a slight discomfort on my belly.

I’m 5’4, 128lbs, and was glad I ordered a medium.

So happy I found you

My husband, who is an avid rider, told me about Machines for Freedom. I’m so happy he did. I always have hated bike clothing and it actually deterred me from riding. Nothing ever fit well. I’ve never worn bibs before. These are a game changer. Not only are they super comfortable, they actually make me look look!! Lol! I would love to buy a jersey but I hope you come out with some solid colors. As much as I love the prints and appreciate their design, they aren’t necessarily my style. I’d really like to try the fit! I will definitely be getting another pair of bibs! Thank you for filling a giant void in the cycling world!

MVP for MVP

Best long bibs ever. The chamois is the best on the market. These are perfect for a wide variety of temperatures- throw another pair of tights over them for super cold days without feeling super bulky, and wear them on warmer days without feeling like you’re going to melt. They may be pricy, but they are WORTH IT.

Wanted to love

I really wanted to love these pants. I have taken over a month to write this. Hoping they would feel better. They were expensive especially with our exchange rate(Au). Unfortunately being 153cm they are too long. And the zips never work for small people. A non zip version would be better. The chamois is not comfortable. It is not centred and sits to the side. Also was recommended to get a small but ended up having to get extra small. Not cheep sending internationally.
On a positive note they do make you look amazing.

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback, Liz! We've emailed you to learn more about this chamois to the side issue, as that should not be how MVP's fit! We look forward to hearing from you :)

I'm amazed

Having purchased the Jaded Rose jersey last year and having fallen in love with it, I was excited to try the MVP. As a bike tour guide, I spend hours (and hours and hours) nearly every day in bike clothing on the bike. My standards are high and my expectations nearly the same level. I say nearly as most companies disappoint to some degree and I've learned to keep my expectations a tad lower. I recommend contacting MFF for sizing. I always wear a L or XL in bottoms as I'm a curvy girl with sprinters thighs and a long back. Bella suggested a medium. I scoffed and questioned. She strongly suggested trying the medium. She was right. The body is long enough that the straps don't dig in and the whole fit keeps everything where it should be. Yes the fit is tight, but after 8 hours I wasn't desperate to get them off, they were still comfortable. The chamois is super comfortable even at the end of the day. The bonus for me living in a mediterranean climate is the SPF50 so I don't have to slather myself in lotion before and during long rides. After two rides I'm almost as deeply in love with the pants as I am with my jersey. I have all the technical fabrics and cuts in clothing that that allows me to feel beautiful, which by the way just makes my rides that much more satisfying. I hope y'all are in business for many years as I expect to be slowly replacing my existing gear with your products. Bonus is that Bella and Ginger are great people to work with. As cyclists they understand your questions, and as women they know what answers you're really looking for. For me this clothing is worth every single penny. (And I have to count my pennies closely)

Great customer service!

I haven't had a chance to wear this in the wild yet, but I must post a review on the customer service I received. Initially the pants felt WAY to tight - didn't even think I could get them over my knees. I contacted customer service and they emailed back with a very thoughtful email about their own experience with the pants feeling very tight when you are putting them on, only to have them fit perfectly. Ginger also provided some advice about how to get them on. She was of course correct and once I got the pants on I didn't want to take them off! I don't normally like tight fitting clothing, but these felt like a second skin! I can't wait to try them out on the bike.

Please make a longer inseam option in these! (Good construction. Shorter than average)

Please please please make a longer length in these! I'm 5'10, which is tall, but not that tall,& they fit like short capris/pedal pushers (like a straight up SHORT LENGTH, even compared to average length pants/leggings/tights by most brands).
The straps are a bit tight on sholders but not too bad, more annoying is the shortie legs digging into your calfs really uncomfortably (and the awkward tan line/lack of sun coverage for ppl who care about that/are in high sun contact areas).
I'm about the size of the display model- an inch shorter, and i have no idea how they even pulled the legs down that far on her unless she put glue on her calves LOL...Maybe the fit model must have actually been straight up short or there might have been a design flaw? They are definatly not even average length long. There are already loads of capri length/just below knee length options on the market, someone really needs to make a good summer weight/transitional long option! There are lots of us that ride and go touring in conservative countries and areas who need to cover up without winter weight materials/for sun protection.
Other than that the construction is very good and the weight of the kit can be worn year round. I let a friend try them on to see if they would work for her- she is just UNDER 5'5'' and they fit her as represented. Please make a full length inseam version of these for those of us over 5'6''!!!! It would be amazing....

Lived Up to Expectations

Was a bit skeptical that a long-sleeved anything would still allow me to stay cool on a warm day. I wore this to the 30th/final NYC Century, and it worked. The day started off a bit cool/overcast but the sun/heat/humidity + just being a sweaty person all came into play. And I still stayed comfortable to the end. So very pleased with the performance. On the vanity scale, I loved how I looked wearing it. I also didn't know if I truly believed the sizing when I purchased it, but again, I was wrong. The fit was perfect.

Cycling dreams are made of this!

Have been lusting after this jersey for a long time, and have finally got my hands on one! The print is just as beautiful as the photos, and the fabric and fit are so dreamy. For a NZ reference - I wear a size large Tineli jersey, and have a medium MFF jersey. (I used the MFF sizing calculator which recommended a medium and it’s a perfect fit)

I love the values and principles of female cycling that drive MFF, and every time I have this jersey on, I feel the power of the MFF sisterhood that’s woven into it

Comfortable fit

5’6 160lbs and M fits perfectly. Not skin tight, but a good race fit.

Great sunshield!

Love this long sleeve jersey! I ordered a small but could have used a medium, for reference I’m a 6 in Lulu, small in Patagonia.
My only caveat is the price, I buy my cycling and mtb gear from a similar company with high standards and quality, they charge less but I pay through the nose in customs fees so......

Best Jersey and so beautiful

I absolutely adore this jersey! It is lightweight, protects you against the sun and is gorgeous! Yes, these jerseys are pricey, but they are ones that I think will last a very long time (great quality) and I am definitely going to build my MFF wardrobe after my love for this first purchase :)
You won’t be disappointed.

Things I like:
- I don't like jerseys that are too short, and this one is nice and long
- the fabric is both silky and soft and technical
- coldblack prevented the jersey from heating up on some pretty warm sunny days. I felt comfortable in this jersey on a very sunny day in the high 70's low 80's
- the fit is so flattering. I usually wear an xs, (32 bust, 25 waist, 34 hip), and the xs fit great

Things I didn't like:
- nothing!

Standout quality and feel. Jenn advised me to buy small for 35.5 inch bust and I have perfect race fit. There is slight puckering at top shoulder line that I am hoping works out over time. I had previously purchased medium in thrive green dot print and it is loose and not the right size. Listen to Jenn!

I love it.

MFF Jersey does not always disappoint me. I think this jersey is a perfect understanding of the female body. I love it.

The perfect jersey!

Literally the perfect Jersey. Super soft, flattering, nice and fitted, and the pockets hold a LOT without getting saggy or stretching out. I used to dread carrying my third bottle in my jersey for long hot rides but it’s not a problem at all now. At first I thought MFF was too pricy but all the stuff I’ve gotten has been more than worth it- I don’t really wear other brands anymore because they don’t compare ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Best Jersey I Own!

I don’t know where to start here because there’s so much I love about this jersey (and this company!) The quality is amazing. You will not find a more comfortable, form fitting, functional, and flattering jersey out there. I was told I was crazy to spend $175 on a cycling jersey but I would do it again and again. The zipper on the side is perfect for your phone or credit cards and the pockets in the back aren’t large and clunky like others. This shirt has a compression feel so it’s so form fitting and looks great on. The material is otherworldly! I can not recommend this company enough!

Buttery soft & fits like a glove!

The fabric is so soft and silky! The fit is perfect and pockets are just right. I’m so happy I found MFF because it makes me look and feel awesome! Finally a brand that makes cool gear for women’s bodies!

Wind Vest

So excited to wear this! I had ordered the small thinking it would be best, but second guessed myself as the fit on the bottom was a little looser than I had anticipated although it fit fine through the chest and arm holes. I exchanged it for an extra small which I found to be too tight across the chest and too tight in the armholes. The waistband, which was at first a concern with the small wasn't that much different in the extra small, so I sent it back requesting the small again...still waiting. I have sent an email requesting follow up on this issue, but response is slow. Hoping they receive it soon so I can have the vest to wear in this California weather, which is about to change.
I love all my "Machines for Freedom" wear, the bibs, long sleeves (one is summer weight - air flows through it so well!) and two short sleeves, as well as the orange jacket (small) all fit great, look great and feel great!
I like the look of the vest, and am excited to wear the vest when it finally arrives! :-)

Solid Vest

I love how lightweight it is but still great at blocking wind on cool descents. Goes with all of my Machines jerseys and packs up small to fit in my jersey pocket.
