Notes about fit
- A snug fit is crucial to performance. Think of this Bib as Spanx for your bike.
- In order to find your best fit with our products, we recommend checking your measurements and using the chart above.
- Ultra high density ischiatic inserts will stay comfortable for up to 6 hours in the saddle. Positioning works for all sit bones widths.
- Thermo-molded design makes this chamois look, and feel, less bulky.
- High density ‘pelvic track’ insert shaped for a woman’s anatomy.
- Extremely soft and breathable fabric. Polymide-carbon threading makes the fabric ultra fast drying, bacteriostatic, and reduces heat gain during long hours in the saddle.
I was worried they were too tight when I first put them on, but they are very comfortable! Fit like Spanx! I wish they were easier to get out of (an over-the-head strap works so well) but this is the first pair I've worn where I can go for miles without any discomfort.
I've never had a bib because I felt they would not fit my body. MFF gave me enough confidence to try though and I am glad I did. I have a pear shaped body with most of my weight in my thighs, hips and tummy. Cycling shorts always seem constrictive to me and so I ordered the 'tall' to get them lower cut down the leg to try and minimize tightness and the inevitable fat bulge that most shorts gave me. This helped! I love that there is the tall option to make them end closer to the knee therefore minimizing the sausage look. The actual suspenders part is very light and airy. The cut is actually really slimming and I feel really 'held in' by the fit of the bib. The padding on the saddle is well placed and significant, making for a comfortable ride. I've washed them (per instructions and directions) and they held up well I am really happy with my purchase!
When shopping for bib shorts I decided to order the Tall version as I have pretty curvy thighs and wanted a little more coverage along my leg. I also wanted to make sure the leg bands didn't ride up (has happened with other regular length shorts I've owned). I was excited to see that these bibs have a fantastic wide band around the leg that is tight enough to keep the short in place, but not so tight that it digs into your thigh like a sausage casing. The leg, hip, and torso compression are all comfortable and the bib stays in place while riding. I love the fit and they look great. I used to sneak into the office after a morning bike commute trying to hide my legs, now I feel pretty good in my kit.
When I first order the bib I did feel like the shoulder straps were a little tight - I have a pretty long torso and I was a little worried it would be a deal breaker. After a few rides the shoulder straps felt fine. I don't know if they stretched a little, or if I just got used to the feeling, but I hardly notice anymore. My belly button does occasionally play peek a boo through the mesh of the bib if I don't wear a longer jersey.
Overall, I enjoyed wearing my Endurance Bib - Tall so much I ordered a pair of The Most Versatile Pant to get me through the cool PNW days.
I'm 5'6" and about 155 lbs right now. Based on my measurements, I was worried that medium might be a little loose (my waist is several inches smaller). However, these are very compressive and fit pretty well. I am glad I ordered the tall length, on my build (big thighs) they are about the perfect size. Another reviewer commented on how snug the shoulder straps are. I noticed this as well, although for my height it wasn't a problem. Wore these for a 3 hour ride today and found them quite comfortable.
These bibs have a wonderful chamois and have a nice compression fit that is snug, but not uncomfortably tight. The problem is that the shoulder straps are WAY too tight for me, and they dug into my shoulders and caused blisters. I'm 5'11" and I have a pretty long torso. I gave these a test ride to see if maybe the straps would feel better in riding position, but unfortunately I was still very uncomfortable. It's a bummer because these bibs were perfect in every other way.
